Gabby and Aiden

Another raining weekend, but thankfully the showers turned to mist when it came time for formal portraits. It’s always hard when you plan your ceremony a certain way only to have the weather wash it down the drain. This blog goes to show you that you should never let the forecast hamper your celebration. Scroll on to see just what I mean!

Hair and makeup were done by the time I arrived. Nothing a little fake it till you make it series to highlight those moments.

Came up to introduce myself to Aiden, but the ping pong match was too heated.

The way these two light up in front of one another.

Taking it back to my first wedding at Castle Farm. This shot was something they had never seen done before.

Melissa from Belle of the Ball “You know I have actual tissues I can get you. You don’t have to wipe with the tissue paper.”

“Now give him a kiss on the lips.”

The best kind of first look reaction.

First official family portrait.

“How come I was the only one to do Fabulous!?”

My favorite kind of shot to take at this venue.

The rain was coming down so we opted to do the pre-ceremony portraits inside as best we could.

Might have to be my next favorite shot here.

Every couple needs a secret handshake.

The horse was ready for picture time. At this moment, I had asked the couple if they wanted to power through the mist to grab as much as we could while we could. These moments were well worth a little mud on the Nike shoes.

“The beer horse was the one thing I had to have.”

Another shout out to Melissa for keeping that dress out of the mud. She’s hidden behind the fence post. This is one of many examples of proof that a good team is well worth the investment.

This dude was first on the dance floor.

The tear soaked cheeks of Mama Bear as her little girl spoke from the heart.

The winky face.

The “oh sh!t” cake face.

Braving the mist once again for night time photos in my favorite spot.

Each one of these guys gave Aiden a kiss on the cheek.

Taking a photo of him taking a video of me.

The only way to do a group photo.

The most romantic dance partners.

My favorite dancers of the night goes to this young couple. Just pure joy swinging each other around all night long.

Clock out time was at 9, but what's 20 more minutes. I get to be there for their final dance, and see them off through the glow sticks. What did I tell you? Wet weather can still be fun!
