Melissa and Josh

You can hope and pray your way through the week, and sometimes the rain will go away. If it doesn't, just make the best of it. The drinks will still quench your thirst, and the love will still be warm and fuzzy. Scroll on to see how this couple manages the wet weather!

Melissa’s Mom as soon as I laid out the details “Ooo, I like you already!”

The bridal suite at Seed & Sapling had a huge upgrade. Loving the bed in the getting ready area.

The girls at Beauty for Ashes were done by the time I arrived. Shelby was getting herself together so I had her do some hairspray, and Melissa did a few “touch up” shots.

I usually charge extra for feet pics, but these were covered.

The absolute best group of guys ever. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these gentlemen multiple times over the years, and they always make me laugh.

Nothing more classy that a pocket watch.

Bridesmaid, florist, Bethany does it all at Windsor’s Florist.

The faces that say the dress is perfect.

Still your little girl.

Some timeless bridal portraits.

It was a start to finish rainy day. Despite that, we still managed to get some beautiful photos without getting soaked.

Melissa filled with so much happiness that it’s coming out of her eyes.

The maid of honor and best man, Philip, coming in clutch making sure the first kiss was completely unobstructed.

That post ceremony excitement.

Followed by shots.

The rain slowed down to a mist, so we headed out to capture some magic around the venue.

“Can we do a JC Penny photo?”

One of the only places they wanted to try to make happen even with the rain was on the bridge.

When you instruct the guys to stand next to Josh, and this happens.

“We all got cigars, can we do a smoke em?”

Por Que Daddy!

Still raining, but we had another mist break. We went back out when it was supposed to be sunset photos, and grabbed a few more shots.

This photo says it all <3

Little beep boop of frosting on the nose.

Cassie, I tried, but every photo was basically you with your mouth open again lol.

I have always heard that twins have a bond with one another that no one else would ever comprehend. Seeing these two on the dance floor together opened my eyes to that even more.

When Grandma enters the dance circle, everyone rejoices.

This group right here won my favorite dancers of the night. The widest smiles, and the dance like no one is watching moves were just the best.

Did not save me a shot of tequila.

So close to winning favorite dancer. Dude is smooth.

Rain on your special day does add a level of stress that no one wants to deal with. At the end of the night though, you still got married to the love of your life while having the most beautiful moments together. If you're brave enough to venture outside, the photos will 100% be worth it.
