Lea and Ben

June has been an absolute scorcher the last few years, and when the heat and humidity are maxed out you pray for a cool summer breeze. That is just what these two got, and it was wonderful. This wedding was filled with so many tears, even more laughs, and a room with some of the funnest guests I have ever encountered. Scroll on to see!

“How do I look?”

This face, this look of pure happiness, was the face of Lea the entire day.

I never met a more appreciative bride <3 After every photo was a thank you of some sort.

“It feels weird because when you suck on it, it just shoots the liquid into your mouth.”

Also another good quote

”Is it penises or peni?”

Jolly Trolley > Limo.

A room full of ripping and roaring. I thought there was no way the guys could match the girls.

Armed with a kiss on the cheek from both of Lea’s brothers, Ben was ready for the aisle.

Lea hid the Smirnoff Ice under her dress for this diabolical first look with the boys.

The flowers from Styled were such a gorgeous accent on an already stunning group.

That wonderful breeze coming off the bay at Rehoboth Beach Country Club.

Immediately gave each other a kiss at the very start.

The ceremony was perfection. The passion coming from their officiant was powerful, and the vows had the right amount of love and laughter.

“What do we do with our hands, and where do we look?”

Ben’s saunter.

This group is the textbook example of perfect wedding day energy.

One of my favorite photos of the day. The leading lines, the seagull in the distance, and the horseshoe crabs doing it.

One of the only shots she requested for the day, and it’s the best one for flaunting that dress.

Locked in and enjoying every second.

THe room was divided. YOu were either Eagles or Redskins.

We were on the dock for maybe 5 minutes tops, and crushed through a handful of poses.

These two started off as my favorite dancers of the night, but they were dethroned before the night was over.

This lady was 100% all night.

Another fun group to watch throughout the evening.

They lifted Ben, they lifted Lea, and I asked these guys to lift them both at the same time. They said they were spent.

It shouldn’t be a surprise who won favorite dancer of the night. He took charge of the entire dance floor for the entire duration of Bad Romance.

The hard part about photographing dancing is that a hand or head can quickly block a photo I really want. I thought for sure I missed this moment because of the elbow, but somehow I squeezed the shutter off at the right moment.

When I tell people that their wedding day will fly by, I don’t think people truly grasp how true that really is. Some weddings are perfectly fine ending at 9 pm because keeping the energy up till 10:30 can be difficult. This day was not the case. Surround yourselves with people who you will raise the bar, and you’ll have a night you’ll never forget.
