Terri and Lee

I could get used to a ceremony being on one day, and the reception on the other. I basically fast forwarded through to the best parts of the day. The first time I saw Terri and Lee together, I knew they were something special. Despite that, when her daughter got married a couple years ago, I made a joke about doing a photo with and without the boyfriend…just in case. A joke that Lee never forgot. Guess what though! You get to stand next to Terri in all the photos she wants. Even if you announce that they are done…several times. Scroll on to see a wedding I have been waiting for.

“Hey! You’re not in this picture!”

Terri’s father said he was going to take some photos during the ceremony as well. I did not expect him to be front and center. I didn’t mind one bit though because I feel like this photo just makes an awesome memory. I asked him about them the next day, and he said “I think I got maybe one out of a hundred.”

Zach walked his sister down the aisle, and now he gets to walk his mom <3

“Do you promise not to bother Lee when he is scrolling through Reels?”

“I’m going to need some aspirin after that.”

She was over the pictures.

I love this Terri bridal portrait.

“I’m going to need you guys to play an abbreviated version of the song.”

Way before the first dance, these two were already dancing.

Don’t do it!

The driveway counts as part of the dance floor.

Happy birthday!

Terri reached out to me a few times about wedding dates, and each time she would reschedule. Once we got down to a month away, I knew this day would come. Soon after I got an email saying something along the lines of “Jon, I’m stressing out!” Somehow though, this bride was able to enjoy her moment of spotlight while coordinating the whole thing. That is why she is one of the greats.
