It’s normal to be nervous on a wedding day. You are putting your love out there for the closest people in your life to witness. No amount of practice can give you 100% confidence, and no amount of “don’t worries” can take away the anxiety. You just have to take each second as it comes, and trust that all the preparation will deliver the magic. If that doesn’t help, then know that in a few hours you’ll be happily dancing in front of those same people as they dance along side you. Scroll on to see this beautiful day.
I don’t know what kind of witchcraft Honey Bridal used to get the hair and makeup to last through the heat, but I need that for every wedding!
When you forget the poker chips, you play with sugar.
Final touch ups.
The smoldering look is not easy to do, but she makes it look that way.
The first and last smile I got from Ray Ray.
Eryn said she originally got another dress that was more form fitting from the waist down, but then changed her mind and went with this dress. The faces say it all.
The watch isn’t wound and the time isn’t set, but it was Grandpa’s and that makes it the best accessory.
“I’m going to be crying way more than she will.”
Emily “He’s in a super happy mood right now.” Me “Ooo, let me get a picture then!”
The biggest cheese on the littlest dude.
Practicing his dip before going down the aisle.
“That’s not how you dip…this is how you dip!”
The awkward prom pose.
“We should probably practice too!”
It was 80 degrees, but it felt like 90+. That breeze was wonderful when it came through though, and you can’t ask for better conditions for a mid August wedding.
Some Magic Ryan action. I hope the underwear becomes a part of the normal rotation.
It’s super tough standing in front of a room full of people while putting your most vulnerable self out there. You just gotta take deep breath, curse, grab your beer and look at your brother and say “Alright, when I drink, you drink.”
One of the first few on the dance floor.
Sneaking away from the party for that smooth reflection shot.
Bumping and grinding 15 minutes into the party.
Being in the wedding industry, you start to become friends with some of the best around. DJ Hype gets all credit for keeping that dance floor alive.
I just happened to see Cait looking down towards something from across the dance floor with this look on her face that told me I needed to get over there. I don’t know what I expected, but pants down dancing surpassed my expectations. FOr that, Ryan you are my favorite dancer of the night.
When the crowd opens up, and surrounds you during the slow song.
Glow stick singing their hearts out.
More crowd surfing bride and grooms please.
Even had a mini concert.
Give Mama the fan!
The bar has been set pretty high for what a wedding party can be. I knew this crew was something special before, but words can’t describe how thankful I am to be front and center to another epic display of love. The only way to cap it off is by taking a swig of some $1500 whiskey.
