Jamie and David

I have had some last minute bookings over the years, and this was another one. I have never been more glad for having a date available because hanging out with these people, even if it was only for a day, was such a gift. If you want to know what my ideal client looks like, it’s them. Scroll on to see why I am so thankful!

Using some of the flowers to frame and isolate the dress.

Eating a sandwich is officially going to be a part of the wedding album.

“You are such a model!”

There aren’t enough mimosas so does anyone want to eat a strawberry?

Mom fighting back the tears which in turn caused Jamie to have to fight back her own tears.

The smolder game is strong. Also the venue coordinator at Bohemia Manor has some hustle in her step. We did not know that we weren’t allowed to drive the carts, but the memories of us trying to back out will live with me forever.

They said they wanted to do this weird leg swing skip and I was skeptical. I now have another trick in my bag.

“I gotta cheat with tying his tie by doing it on myself first.”

That sliding glass door reflection shot.

There was a butterfly that came to visit during first look. You can see it between David and Jamie.

That same butterfly photobomb the first kiss together.

Prior to the first look, David told me that he had to remind himself to smile once in a while because he isn’t very emotional. Hearing the cracks in his voice and seeing the tears in his eyes during his private vows while knowing that just made me appreciate the love these two have.

Had to meticulously edit out the Atlantic Tractor shindig going on in the distance.

By now, the earliest of arrivers started to filter in. We smashed through the group photos, and took the van back up to hide.

Practicing the knot tying with what they had immediately available.

Followed by recurling the hair just before walking the aisle.

Jackie sets the bar for a Maid of Honor. She made sure everything went smoothly. Also, Terra the wedding coordinator made my life so easy.

“Should we put the rings on?”

Practice paid off.

They also practiced the dip kiss a total of two times before the ceremony which is all they needed because they pulled it off successfully.

The short and sweet ceremony gave us just enough time to snag family portraits, and a couple post ceremony photos of just the bride and groom. The skies opened up as we made our way to cocktail hour.

“When we wanted to fix something around the house, we did it ourselves to try to save as much money as possible. David on the other hand, David has people for that.”

It’s always amazing getting to see a father be the best man at his son’s wedding.

Letting me know everything is going awesome.

My favorite dancer of the night is actually this group of kids. They were out there from the start singing, and having the time of their lives.

Emma setting the bar for making sure I never go thirsty <3 A drink in the hand makes a happy photographer.

Who needs a cake when you can share a cannoli.

And a huge shoutout to this girl for helping me get dinner. So helpful and I was so appreciative.

The rain slowed to a drizzle and the sparklers filled the area with smoke. The laughs these two shared while trying to do a dip kiss during their exit is a summary of the mood throughout the day. Chill vibes and just wanting to have fun is so simple, but those two things do wonders in making a wedding day epic.
