Alex and Christian

I’ve had one hour weddings, and two hour weddings. I think this is my first 4 hour wedding. The day was super chill. The only formality was the ceremony itself. Family pictures were super casual throughout the day, and everyone was just enjoying their drinks along with the company. Scroll on to see what a relaxing evening can entail!

Notes, paper clips, washers, and magnets. The most prepared officiant.

These kids were playing outside when I was parking my car, and did not stop the entire evening.

A little pre-ceremony pump. Jackson also mentally preparing for his big moment the next day!

Every family needs that one adult who is willing to get on the floor and entertain the children.

Dad already tearing up.

Alex was in the doorway talking to her Dad, and her Dad kept saying he was waiting for his first look with his daughter. It took a few seconds of back and forth before he realized it was her.

Christian looking absolutely dapper in this green suit.

Some people tie knots, some pour sand, and I have even had one where the couple poured their favorite beers into a pitcher to chug. This is my first weight plate on a curl bar ceremony.

Oh no!

It was raining off and on from the moment their wedding day was supposed to start. At the very end of the ceremony, it absolutely poured. As Dom rushed to finish, these two burst out laughing. You can’t control the weather so you just embrace it.

The showers lasted maybe a couple minutes, and we were right back outside for photos of the bride and groom.

A little beep boop on the nose.

It’s been a year since I’ve been at Lighthouse Cove, and it feels so good to be back.

“I’m sinking in the sand!”

Tried to get Alex to give me that smolder, and she busted out laughing.

Then she smoldered.

The best part about a little rain on your wedding day is when those colors shoot across the sky <3

“Come on, lift it with me, you can be my personal trainer.”

You can’t control the weather, but if you just try to make the best of it your day will be amazing. This is also proof that you don’t need a wedding party, or any of the formalities to make some of the best memories. Also, I wish you could see just how adorable their daughter is!
