Cara and Philip

If you surround yourself with people who are ready to party, then your wedding day if going fly by. The amount of joy I witnessed today cannot be put into words. Yes, everyone was dripping wet, yes the humidity was insane, but that’s what beer and margaritas are for. You are going to have to scroll on to see just how amazing this summer wedding really was.

When you walk in to see Ericka behind the hair and makeup and DJ Hector running the turn tables, you know it’s going to be a beautiful and entertaining day. Another all-star wedding, check!

A thousand degrees outside, and still looking as cool as ever.

Must have hair spray shot.

Some bridal parties have that little bit of extra pepper. The girls shredded the dance floor all night, the guys had a gentleman with a broken leg. JK everyone was amazing :P

“Oh wait, was I not supposed to smile!?” The ladies set the bar for the no smile smolder.

It was sooo hot, and it was sooo bright out. We cut pictures short immediately after this photo because everyone was getting good and moist. AC and lemon crushes fix all.

Coming in to enjoy the last bit of cocktail hour as one of the groomsmen and this young lady serenaded the guests. I always wonder what people are thinking when I move lights around and put myself in weird positions. I just wanted to add a kiss of light on the couple and use the two musicians as foreground elements.

The first dance, my goodness. If their first dance was part of a TV show, the next scene would be them bursting through the doors passionately making out. I’ve personally seen it all, but I was still swooning behind the camera. These few minutes would not be done justice with just one photo in the blog.

This man has had years of rock paper scissor experience.

Pure joy on the dance floor makes my job cake.

Speaking of cake…pushing how wide my lens can get with all this. Now I understand T-Pain’s music.

We let that dress loose once again to grab a bridal portrait. Summer weddings are tough because it’s super hot, and the sun is blazing till late into the evening. Sneaking out post-cake cutting allowed us to get some more aesthetic lighting.

Chickberry Farms has some beautiful plants throughout its grounds. These flowers add that little bit of extra when summers are so full of just green.

Cara has perfected the slight smile look up.

First of many bridesmaids trading cards. Not for resale or actual trade.

Coming in after her nap like.

My favorite dancer of the night is actually multiple people. The awesomeness of the bridesmaids was just magical. They did the sprinkler, they were bumping and grinding, and the maid of honor at one point traversed her way outside using nothing but a frog hop.

The man, the myth, the electric slide legend.

If you take the photo before this one and loop them together, you get the Tina dance from Bob’s Burgers. Like I said, magical.

Just elegantly fanning herself with her card locked and loaded.

I probably have like 20 photos of this bridesmaid snacking on the dance floor, and they are all amazing.

Anything can be a dance partner if you are creative enough.

The dedication in solidifying herself as the next to get married.

Dude is packing the biggest, blackest…belt.

When it gets dark, I usually pull the couple away to nab some kind of silhouette shot. These two were just having to much fun, and I could not stop that energy. To all the people I moved to the side to dance around the couple, thank you!
