Morgan and Braxton

Walking into a wedding day when you have not met the couple before can sometimes be a little nerve-racking. There is a lot of stuff going on as people scramble to put together the best day ever in the remaining few hours. Luckily, I have a trick up my sleeve for spotting which one amongst the crowd just so happens to be the bride. Just look for the one in white…with the exception of this Sunday wedding. Morgan was zipping around trying to make sure all the centerpieces were set up just right when I came in, and she was dressed in black. After getting the lay of the land, the other vendors started trickling in, and I realized that Morgan and Braxton stacked their day with some of the absolute best in the industry.

Bridesmaids when they realize they are now being photographed.

I almost never post the shoes, but I really liked this photo.

The girls from Beauty For Ashes once again! It’s getting hard to think of something to say in these blogs because I work with them so often, and they are all just amazing.

Willowbrook has a room just for the dresses to hang, and it is awesome.

Kara from Glitz & Glam Salon “Hey, listen to Jon, he wants you to look at him.”

Braxton lost his bow tie, and someone had to run out to find a replacement.

Easily one of my favorite silly groom group shots. Mostly because his dad looks like Raymond Reddington.

I almost think that these guys were faking their pool skills so that they could hustle me out of my money later.

Anyone who knows my photography, knows that I love using foreground to help frame my subject.

Third time’s a charm.

My vote for coolest tattoo of the day with her Totoro. Ponyo and Calcifer next maybe? Not pictured here, that very tattoo I’m talking about.

I told her to look at me seductively. Nailed it.

Favorite photo of a bride getting buttoned up.

The only bride that I have had that has been barefoot throughout her whole wedding.

Flower Mom Moms.

Place the ring on her finger, let’s say a prayer, I now pronounce you husband and wife…totally forgot to have Morgan place Braxton’s ring on his finger. This will be a story that will be told for a long time.

Not enough shenanigans guys!

These ladies are <3 Also, the second bridesmaid from the left dates a cowboy guy, and I think he and I are bestfriends now.

My favorite part of Willowbrook is this foliage fence. That’s why you are seeing back to back photos from it.

Using a little flower bed for a pop of color.

That’s the same flower bed at the left of this image. Also, Morgan is the most perfect twirler.

This beautiful young lady enjoying the weather. Also, if you loved the beautiful charcuterie during cocktail hour, check out Get On Board!

Instead of a speech, Jordyn did a video through the projector. I am loving this idea. DJ Vance coming in clutch with the audio hook ups for the projector. Also, Lorilicious Cakes brought all the delicious sweets!

Not the mom, she’s the Aunt.

Past bride with past bridesmaid bumping and grinding.

Papa bear over here!

When you get a babysitter for the night.

I can’t remember what song was playing, but I'm going to say it’s Soulja Boy judging by how much she’s cranking that.

I always do this photo, but I was trying to think of a shot that was different from what I have done in the past to really highlight something about this wedding venue.

And this is the amazingness I came up with.

Whenever a couple lets me take a few moments away from their party to photograph some creative shots, it just pumps me up. This is how I grow, and how I add awesomeness to my photography arsenal. Morgan and Braxton, thank you for having me be a part of your wedding day, and Braxton be safe overseas <3
