Katya and Jerrell

This year has been a year of craziness. I know the stress level on the majority of my brides has been through the roof, but I am so happy for all the ones that were able to sneak in their “I Do’s.” A couple days ago I finished up my 2020 season with Katya and Jerrell, and I can’t think of a better family to fill that roll. This wedding was originally going to be my first destination wedding, then it was changed to a smaller wedding at a venue in Philly, and then the final transformation was a rooftop wedding at The Logan. There are actually many other changes that occured, but those were the main three. Despite all the madness, Katya remained as beautiful as ever, and Jerrell was able to serenade the wedding party with a piano performance no one will every forget.

I am so proud of this dress photo. This closest was fill with coats, shoe boxes, and other shenanigans. I used the two doors to isolate the dress to create this masterpiece. Also, Katya’s dress was designed by her Uncle who is a world-famous fashion designer. He has created outfits for Lady Gaga, Lil Nas X, and Madonna. Check him out here! Before I send you guys off to my absolute favorite image of the evening, I just have to say that I am so lucky to have met so many amazing people, and have been a part of so many amazing memories. It really means so much to me when a family has to have me be the one to photograph their next life adventure, or when they treat me as one of their own. This family is something special in the sense that if I ever needed them, I have no doubt in my mind that they would be there. I can’t wait to see them all again in June!
