Sarah and Corey

It’s so rare to instantly bond with someone after just meeting them…all it took was working a super beautiful wedding with a rave of a reception party, complete with cake flying everywhere. She was an up and coming Wedding Coordinator who is now the big dog at one of Delaware’s top venues, Vanderwende Acres. The day I met her now-husband Corey, I instantly fell in love with him. He’s basically a giant teddy bear. I can’t even imagine a more perfect match.

It was supposed to be 64 degrees, but that wind was super chilly. Can’t complain though, it is the beginning of January.

This was a super short, and intimate gathering. Thank goodness technology allows us to bring our besties right there with us. Don’t worry, I am 100% positive when they have their bigger wedding day in December, it will be equally as emotional.

Corey rocking the paper towel pocket square, and Sarah could not stop the tears of joy. It’s amazing to have your brother officiating your small big day. The stories told, and cracks in his voice as he tries to choke down a sob just added to the beauty.

The most adorable person in attendance. I can not wait to see her perform her flower girl duties.

Shew! It is 3 days into the New Year, and I am not sure how I am going to top this photo.

It was an incredibly short wedding, but the emotions present were enough to take up a full day. What’s funny about their wedding is that it was the first one of the year for me, and at this moment the second half is my last one for the year. I can’t think of anything better than that. Here is to 11 more months till I get to hear her sing, at the top of her lungs, Love on Top by Beyonce.
