Carolyn and Adam

Out of every one of my weddings, Carolyn and Adam had the most stressful time with rescheduling their big day. We must have jumped around to at least 4 new dates before finally setting it in stone. These guys were orginally going to have a black tie wedding with over 200 people, but with current circumstances they settled with celebrating with a few handfuls of the really important ones. Big weddings can be awesome, but small intimate weddings hold their own. Also, I’d like to mention that Carolyn and Adam made me feel like a weakling. Vodka on the rocks is pretty hardcore.

Carolyn “HAve you ever had a wedding where all the brides just did their own makeup?” I have not, but you guys did amazing…also, Carolyn’s big ol doe eyes!

Can you make a guess which one will not enjoy the beer choice for the toast?

Didn’t even read the card, and she was brought to tears.

You would never be able to tell that they all did their own hair and makeup.

When you add commentary to mama’s speech, and she comes over with the mic.

It is definitely not for the faint of heart to try to plan a wedding around a pandemic. What these guys succeeded in doing was coming together, and making the best of a situation. There was no shortage of laughs, tears, or love as we all gathered around to celebrate the joining of Carolyn and Adam. After leaving them, I could not have imagined them having their wedding any other way. It was perfect.
