Lindie and Kevin

Here we are at my last wedding for the 2019 year :( This one was a super fun one to end with. This wedding day started at 8AM, and Lindie was feeling the stress right from the get go. Her hair was not cooperating, and her curls were falling out before the day picked up any momentum. Luckily a solution was found, and she arrived to get her makeup done just a tiny bit behind schedule. Her bridesmaids were pretty amazing at keeping the stress at bay, and they made sure that everything else went according to plan.

It’s crunch time, so everyone is put to work.

If you’re not nice to your makeup artist, you get the mace. Just kidding, this is some kind of magical spray that keeps makeup in place.

Daddy’s jaw was on the floor.

The smile on Kevin’s face when he saw Lindie was absolutely amazing.

Lindie wore her two Uncle’s wedding rings on her bracelet.

My favorite part about formal pictures is the uncooperative kids. I know it has to drive the wedding party crazy, but I think it makes for some pretty good memories to look back on. I call this photo “beauty and the Beards.”

The only way to end a first dance.

I literally break out in a sweat when I do macro photos, but the end result is so good.

Lindie’s father had an emotional speech, and mama’s face was so full of love when he went back to his seat.

Second favorite dancer of the night is actually the father/husband to my favorite dancers of the night!

And here they are. Mother and daughter just in absolute bliss. Easy win every time.

It also helps to have an epic hair flip to tip the odds in your favor.

When that flowy dress dances along with you.

Just because you are a bridesmaid doesn’t mean you take a break from mama duties.

It was so cold outside, and the wind was howling. The girls all had funny leg warmers, and the guys had thick leather gloves.

Instead of a BOUQUET toss, the couple did a stuffed animal toss. You had two chances to catch one of them. The winners danced together afterwards. This is something that I would love to turn into a tradition.

Showing the ladies how low he can go.

She stopped me and told me she had the best dance partner. I was thinking she was REFERRING to the gentleman earlier who won second place. She then proceeded to tell me that her dance partner will never let her fall…because it was the pole. Love!

And here we are, the end of my last wedding blog for the season. It was an amazing one to seal 2019 with. Towards the end, I was photographing Lindie’s uncle’s rings, and when I went to return them I could not find her to save my life. She said “I’m over here!” I was looking for an epic white dress, and she had already changed into her regular clothes. I could get used to an 8-5 wedding day!
