I feel like a lot of my blogs are starting out with this line: Back in my Respiratory Therapy days, I met a nurse…Well Ciara is another one, but just because she is another nurse does not mean she is any less special. This girl has a smile that can light up a room, and I used to love giving her a hard time. When I met Brian during their engagement session I knew these two were made for each other. The bantering between one another while I was setting up was just beautiful to watch, and seeing the smiles on their faces as they spoke to each other during the first look was magical. This was another cold wedding day, and they had their reception outside in a tent. If you were on the dance floor during the night you were plenty warm because these guys were getting it all night. I can’t wait for you all to scroll through and see these photos.
Here is another makeup artist that I have never met with in person, but we are friends on social media! Check Blushed Studio here!
She’s smiling because she thought she hid herself enough from my camera.
The flowers for Ciara’s hair were no where to be found. Luckily the girls over at Blushed are pros. She took a few pieces from the bouquets, and managed to create something amazing.
Multiple bottles were popped that morning.
“Hey! We are just like the Beatles!”
I love how Ciara got her girls flannel to wear for getting ready. It was so fitting for the cold day.
She said “I barely touched it with my finger, and it exploded!”
Crew goals right here. Also, does Maryland have an open container law?
I had this shot in my head when I saw the full length mirror. It worked out exactly how I wanted.
Brian was a mixture of excited, happy, and nervous for the first look.
And I’m not sure if he realized it, but he did a slight dance when he saw Ciara.
They were so far away from me when I was trying to take this photo so we had to scream at each other.
Then I ran over to them to see if there was a possible photo up close. They were standing there waiting for my guidance. I told them to make two straighter lines with the couple at the end and magic happened.
I say it every time, find me a more beautiful line up of ladies. I just think I fall in love with my wedding bridal party.
As soon and Brian and Ciara made it through the confetti toss, they told me how bad of an idea that was. I love it because it makes for a great photo, but they were picking pieces of paper from their hair for a very long time.
Me “Hey guys, Ciara wants a photo of you guys holding Brian while she tries to pull him away.” All the guys at once “PICK UP BRIAN NOW!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!”
During introductions, Brian slipped and fell on his butt the minute his foot hit the dance floor. #Memories
At the end of his best man speech, he started screaming like Bobcat Goldthwait, and it was epic.
Brian is an amazing dancer. End of story.
This guy is amazing because he was dancing with a cup of wine in his mouth.
My favorite dancer of the night was this little tiny girl. She was out there having the time of her life, and she had this CHOREOGRAPHED dance she did with another wedding guest that you’ll see later on that was just fantastic.
Sometime during the night we smelled something burning. Turns out Ciara threw her coat onto her sweetheart table, and the sleeve landed on a candle.
This little boy was a very close runner up with his worm.
You already know where this is going.
But I bet you didn’t expect the girls nearby to get smashed as well!
Give anyone a couple drinks and they will go from trying to avoid the camera to making love to it.
This was such a cold wedding day, but it was such a fun wedding day! The bartenders were a blast, and the DJ kept the party pumping. Ciara and Brian had smiles on the faces all night long, and the dance floor was overflowing. As I was packing up, and saying goodbye, Ciara asked me to bring a cupcake home to Mila (which she absolutely loved). It’s those little things that make me love people like her. On her big day, the bride is still thinking of others. You guys are truly awesome!
