Irvanisse and Angel

A dream wedding filled with the cream of the crop in the industry will be a hit to the pocketbook. I’ve talked to couples where corners had to be cut because they had a specific DJ in mind to keep the party going, a photographer whose vision matched what they wanted on their walls, or a venue that fulfilled their fairy tale. Willowbrook Weddings put this team together, and Irvanisse and Angel were the ones who lived out their fantasy last weekend. Everything that encompasses a wedding was donated to these two by some incredible people, and if you scroll on, you will see just how much their hearts were filled.

As soon as I arrived and said hello, Irvanisse lit the room up with her smile, and offered me chicken nuggets. All my other brides, take notes :P

Both the ladies and gentlemen were ahead of schedule, and we did not need to pry the Groom away from his PlayStation to put on pants.

The little back area of the guy’s lounge is basically a magazine-worthy man cave. All that’s missing is whiskey and a cigar.

Angel turning his cheek when his brother went in for a kiss.

Taking the mirror shot to the next level. Also, Mom is over there cheesing.

First look with the girls was textbook awesome.

First look with Dad was above and beyond. We had tears, laughs, and he even spun her around a couple times.

Those first touch giggles.

Trying to get Angel’s siblings to do a silly photo with him.

“Muy caliente!”

Absolutely flawless wedding days do not exist. The veil falling out as Irvanisse walked the aisle was the only blip that occurred during this one. If that’s the only thing that you have to worry about, I’d say your day is pretty perfect.

These vows, and how these two held onto one another throughout the ceremony is the definition of love.

They tried to throw Angel into the air, and their efforts were unsuccessful. The attempt was so fun though.

The Queen on her throne.

Winter photography can be tough because everything has lost its luster until spring. Having an array of plants that provide color during this time is so appreciated by all creatives.

That scrumptious bride portrait.

New to Willowbrook is this rustic wall! Take a page from their book by evolving and continuously providing something different to your clients.

Sarah from Downtown Bridal. Thank you so much! I did not have to manipulate the dress whatsoever. She was on point the entire time, and you are worth every single second you spent with us in the cold <3

Coming into the reception with so much style.

This blog is so huge, so I left out a lot of the speeches. Here is the bride and groom’s reaction to one though!

The best kind of laugh right here!

All the line dances were amazing, and I am pretty sure I would have passed out if I took part in all of them.

Same wall as before, but a different take on it. It was 22 degrees when we walked out to take these. It felt so good!

How many ways can a single wall be used? Answer, so many!

I’ve had quite a few weddings at Willowbrook, but this is the first time I incorporated the fountain in a photo.

That purple glow from the DJ lighting.

Speaking of DJ! We got to see quite a few vendors hit the dance floor throughout the night!

Irvanisse has a Youtube channel guys! I’ll link it here so you can keep an eye out for her vlog!

About to get all up in there.

I had the lighting set for this photo for a while, but these two would not leave the dance floor! Think the wait was worth it? I think it came out pretty darn amazing.

A little TikTok action going on! Check out Willowbrook on that platform to see the video!

Get you a man who grinds up on you.

I think it was two years ago that Willowbrook approached me to take part in this dream wedding giveaway. I can’t believe those two years have come and gone! I am so thankful for having so many friends in the industry, and I love how close we all are. Angel and Irvanisse asked me what I got out of donating my services for their wedding day. That was an interesting question. The answer is, I got to take part in something magical with some of the most amazing people. I also now a friendship I would not trade away for anything. Also…cough…tax write off ;) Irvanisse, watch out, Angel and I need to crush some mead again soon.
