Megan and Ben

Two days into 2024, and we have the first wedding blog of the year! In November, I thought I was done for the year, but Megan and Ben reached out to ask if I was available to do a shotgun wedding. And yes, there was an actual shotgun!

Less than a month after meeting Sarah of 302 Aesthetics for the first time, I get to work with her again! A super talented makeup artist that I hope to see more of!

There is something special about a soon-to-be mom using her soon-to-be son’s room to get ready in.

One last maternity type shot.

The most adorable way to react to your Groom seeing you for the first time.

Pop’s got your back Ben.

And Dad’s by your side, Megan. I loved that they incorporated the remembrance photos into their ceremony site.

The golf carts were put to the test. Ben road into the ceremony spread eagle so that the mud didn’t splash up onto his legs.

Two days till January, you could not ask for better weather. Despite the muddy backyard, the overcast skies, and the slightly cool temperatures, it was a picture-perfect wedding day.

Me behind the computer trying to minimize Megan’s self-tanned hands.

The first wedding I have ever had where a deer stand was one of the requested photo spots.

The only thing missing is a natty light can and a cigarette. I love this shot though.

And here we are at the end! I always wonder what kind of diverse set of images I can obtain during these 1-2 hour wedding days. The answer, all the amazing images.
