Olivia and Zane

A venue covered in spring flowers, a beautiful bride, and a friendly teddy bear of a groom. You could not ask for a more perfect spring day or for a more perfect group of people. The ones who started the dance floor ended the dance floor, the second half of the reception was basically karaoke, and we all learned that Zane can’t spell very well. Scroll on for more awesomeness.

When you see the Olivia grabbing for the tissues, you know her letter was filled with love.

Matt “Do I have to tuck you in?”

Olivia swoon portrait.

With a start time of 3 pm, almost everyone had their hair and makeup done by the time I arrived. A few touch-ups and a last-minute hairspray are all you need to get some key photos. Thank you to the ladies at South Wind Salon for taking great care of Olivia and the girls.

Had to kick out the Grandpas (thank you by the way for understanding!) so Olivia could do the first look with her girls, and so we could sneak away to get some formal portraits out of the way.

This is one of my favorite areas of Baywood, but the only issue is that sometimes cars are rolling in and out. If they stop at the back of the bridge, and you get down low, you would never even know they were there.

Olivia killing it with the over the shoulder gaze.

Zane has to be one of the most expressively happy grooms I have ever had the chance to work with, and I would not change a thing about that.

I love when a bride wears their hair down, but it can be tricky when it comes to the curls lasting all day. There was no issue with Olivia’s epic mane.

When you bring your man to tears.

All the guys were supposed to pick her up, but I don’t know what happened. The laughs made the confusion worth it though.

Zane’s turn!

The bridge may as well be a slip and slide when you’re wearing dress shoes.

A little wind blown hair action.

Building in time specifically for sunset photos makes my job way easier.

Shout out to Samantha for handling the veil so I could capture these two photos. Easily one of my best sunset photos of the year.

I have never used the water fountain for photos before. When it was suggested to me, I thought that using them as a foreground element would be more impactful.

What the heck kind of dancing is my mama doing!?

A smiling, icing-covered mouth photo will always make the blog. Earlier in the day, Blakely had exclaimed to her mother “Hold on, I’m getting my picture taken!” The cutest moment of defiance ever.

The speeches were perfect. Short, sentimental, and had just the right amount of roasting.

Textbook awesome neon sign photo.

Gauging whether or not the other will betray them.

Just an impromptu sobriety test.

The hand switching knee dance will always impress the ladies.

Post tequila face. Lauryl, thanks for the drink girl!

The running man is a close second.

Codie admiring his fiance, Brittany’s, dance moves. She was tearing it up, and that’s why she wins favorite dancer of the evening.

Last night, he let the liquor talk…

Some kind of secret shake going on.

When the moves are so good, you just can’t help but lick them lips.

I will say that Olivia absolutely crushed those orange crushes.

I’ll see you in Nashville, Lauryl.

One of the groomsmen got caught sleeping.

The groomsman that was caught sleeping eventually got up, then he opened up his shirt and started sucking on some toes. I believe this was the reaction to the video afterward.

And here is his glowstick penis. This was my latest wedding to date with an end time of 11 pm. Not very many people can keep a party going for that long, but the ones who stayed are definitely true animals. Also, the sparkler exit was hilarious. Zane is a monster of a dude. He basically had to gorilla walk down the entire line because his head was at sparkler level.
