I completely understand how people are nervous when it comes to getting their boudoir photographs taken. You are in front of a camera at your most vulnerable while putting your trust in another person’s hands. It takes a special kind of courage to step out of the bathroom with nothing to hide behind, and with body image insecurities the anxiety gets amplified. It’s easy to compare yourself to someone else’s highlight reel on social media, but you do not know what battles they may be editing out. The truth is, beauty, true beauty, comes from within. It’s being comfortable with how you look, and who you are. Having a child is by no means an easy task, but the resulting tiny best friend makes it all worth it.
