Julia and Ethan

She was once a girl on the brink of starting college, and now Julia has taken the next step. It’s amazing how much goes on within a handful of years. Ethan stepped into her life, and not only captured her heart, but the hearts of her nieces and nephews. It makes me excited to see their journey together continue, and you’ll need to scroll on to see just what makes them so perfect.

Julia has been part of 3 weddings that I have had the pleasure to photograph, and in each one she has always been this bright eyed smiling girl. Her own day was no different.

All the hooting and hollering coming from her girls during this photo <3

What I like about Jane and Tay Salon is that I have worked with them so much that they already know what I am going to do when I ask if I could setup a creative shot.

Probably the most perfect couch pajama shot.

“Now look deeply into his eyes.”

Running the train.

Mom and sister’s laughs fueling Julia’s frustration was just pure love.

The most perfect dress, for the most perfect bride, on the most perfect spring day.

Most of the girls were hanging out by the big window taking selfies, and I really loved how dramatic they looked. Got the rest of them to go join, and I snagged one of my favorite shots of the day.

First look with Dad.

Sneaking a peek at that first look and first touch.

The tears coming from Ethan as his soon to be wife pours out her heart.

It was so bright out, but these girls still killed it.

There are Groomsmen that are your friends, and then there are Groomsmen that are basically family.

I told them to actively do something for this creative photo, and they did not disappoint.

As soon as the candle broke, everyone knew who was responsible.

The little snickering after sharing a tissue.

The candles surprisingly stayed lit despite all the wind!

My first time at Breckenridge Barn!

They said they practiced their dip kiss, and that practice has paid off.

Get you a coordinator that immediately brings your Bride and Groom drinks post ceremony. Maisy from On Cloud Cline always making my day run smooth.

This flower circle looks so good. Florals from the legends at Flourished.

Guys can look good with the bouquets as well.

And the girls, bravo. They picked up Ethan like he was nothing.

Probably the first time in a long time that Ethan was manhandled.

When you want the speedy version of formal portraits so that you can start mingling. I am all for it.

That perfect twirl.

Bringing Mom up to enjoy some of the dance.
Also, I get asked a lot about when I added video to my services. I haven’t, Dukes Films and I just work so well together.

DJ Hector brace yourself for impact!

Having the time of her life right before dinner.

Gotta chug if you wanna eat. It Takes Two Bartending keeping everyone from getting thirsty.

This moment right here shows you just how much her Aunty and Uncle mean to her.

Scroll far enough down on my instagram, and I’m pretty sure this is one of the cheerleaders that I did team photos for.

They started off slow dancing with their drinks, and then they found each other.

Sunset photos, but the speedy version so they can get back to the party.

There were many bubble gun attack casualties.

Just let the music take control.

It is near impossible for me to pick a favorite dancer of the night. The bride, groom, and entire wedding party were on the floor at the very start, and stayed there until the very end. You are all my favorite.

Her little cake covered nose left frosting on Ryan’s butt cheeks.

Taking the Grandparent’s for a spin.

Take me home, country road.

I call this pose “Lady and the Tramp.”

“I don’t like pickles, so I gave it to him.”

The best way to end the dance floor with everyone.

And the best way to end the night is spend the final moments alone. This was such a great wedding day, and I’m left not knowing quite how to feel. I am so lucky to have been in this family’s life throughout the years, and I can’t believe the journey is over. This fairy tale has a happy ending, and that’s all I want.
