Nicolette and Stephanie

The first wedding of 2026! This one is proof that you don’t need a year to plan the best day ever. Put together a great team of vendors, surround yourselves with your bestest of friends, and lubricate the evening with some martinis. All this while missing a blizzard by 12 hours. Scroll on to see these two ladies have the time of their lives!

As soon as I heard these ladies talking to one another, I knew they were going to be a good time.

The best dress photo of I have ever done in a crowded hotel room.

Nivas Beauty getting everyone’s look on point.

“I can’t lick the glass because Taylor is going to take a picture of it!”

The fake laugh always turns into real laughing.

That hotel window light.

I came in to get Stephanie and her guys getting ready and they were already done. Steph said “I wanted to get dressed as soon as possible so that I knew we were ready.”

100% killing the dapper portrait.

This was my first time at The Graycliff, and I think everyone could get use to a maitra D like John to wait on them hand and foot. My absolute favorite portion of the day took place during these final moments before the ceremony. Between the constant need of a bridesmaid needing to “air it out” or the search for a razor to tame the wilderness of one of their armpits, it was all so fun and entertaining.

Practicing her walk and dip before the big moment.

The most cutest guest of the day.

Prior to the ceremony, Nicolette was trying to decide whether or not she would have someone make an announcement about cell phones. Thank goodness no one stuck theirs in the aisle because almost everyone had theirs snapping.

The second favorite Uncle did a great job officiating the big day.

These two never practiced their dip kiss with one another. I had to teach them separately just moments before the ceremony. You would never have guessed because they pulled it off perfectly.

Trying to do formal portraits while staff sets up the area for the reception presented a challenge I have never encountered before. Making a busy area look more private was not easy, but we did it.

One of my favorite shots of the day.

Another busy area, but you would never know.

I always forget to show my clients some sample photos throughout the day. I do know I showed them this one because I was just so impressed.

Proof that you can use any area to create magic. This is just a hallway.

Too adorable not to snap tons of photos of.

The mirrors in the ceiling would create a spotlight effect when I shot my light into it. As you scroll on you will see some pretty awesome photos of me utilizing them to create more isolation in the crowd.

Everyone needs a best friend who brings all the emotions to the table.

The embrace of a brother.

Whiskey shots!

Favorite dancer of the night goes to this bridesmaid. Once “All I Do Is Win” came on, her dance like no one is watching moves were just amazing. The classics like the sprinkler and shopping cart don’t make appearances very often, but I love when they do.

Reeling her in.

Everyone enjoying the moves.

Four hours of driving is nothing when I get to capture love like this. The amount of fun I had was such a great way to kick off this year. If every wedding could be like this one, then can I fairly call this work? I am so thankful when couples like these two have me be a part of their biggest celebration.
