Sheridan and Dillyn

The air was cold and the wind had the bride’s hair in its sights. Even though the skies were misty, that didn’t stop this outdoor wedding from being any less epic. When I say these two made it easy, I am vastly underselling it. They could not wait to see each other, and every second was filled with love and playful banter. Scroll on to see exactly what I mean.

Gonna be a good day when she tells you how much fun the very first shot was.

Can you tie my tie too!

Whole wedding is magazine worthy.

The top button immediately exploded off, and if you look closely you can see it flying through the right side of the frame.

Bridal Emergency came in clutch for the gentlemen with the lint roller and the sewing kit. Sheridan herself mitigating the crisis.

They look sultry but they are so cold.

Hair and dress were blowing, but we still managed a beautiful bridal portrait.

The makeup artists said she had the perfect face shape.

First look was full of tears and laughs, and they made up for the time apart with plenty of kisses.

When you build in time before the ceremony for photos, you get lots.

“She wants you guys to be elegant with the flowers.”

The way they look at each other <3

“We didn’t practice our first dance, should we do a twirl and dip?” Proceeds to do a practice one while stumbling. “Yeah we’re not doing that.”

I was setting up the shot, they misunderstood what I was asking of them, and this took place instead. Love it.

The best measurement on how a speech is going.

I asked for a photo before dinner. After the shot, they continued on doing their thing, and a much more organic memory was captured.

Finally the skies cleared up a smidge!

Faking a sunset photo.

When you want a drink, but you also want to stay on the dance flood.

Another wanting a drink without leaving the dance floor moment.

To quote Macklemore “Your grammy, your aunty, your momma, your mammy, I'll take those flannel zebra jammies, secondhand and rock that motherf*er.”

Took this random photo, she saw me, and we both immediately started laughing.

Then literally two frames later is this shot.

No one stays seated at this wedding.

Slow dance? Nah, Bro Dance.

They said they were going outside to dance even though there was no music out there. I’m here for moments exactly like this. This is also my first time at Seed and Sapling, and it’s always amazing working with Katie from Taste Events.

A lady from across the patio “I don’t know what their doing, but his hand is up there.”

Favorite dancer of the night goes to the bride. She was out there from 7-10 keeping the floor alive.

How every cake cutting should end.

I love how the one dude is still singing during this photo.

A mommy and me wedding photo.

It was so dark outside, but the moon through the clouds was so hard to pass up. Add a kiss of light, and you have a epic night photo.

And there it is. Not many weddings can last this late at night, but these two made it happen. Underneath the sea of neck tie bandanas, Sheridan and Dillyn embraced each other till the absolute end. If you want the gold standard for a wedding day, you just finished what one looks like.
