Kelsey and Bryan

If you want to get to know a person, you have to walk in their shoes. I’m over here asking if subbing their classroom for an entire week counts. It has been a journey getting to this moment, and within a blink of an eye, they are off to their honeymoon. I know you guys are ready to see what the first spring wedding of the year looks like, so scroll on!

A little roasty toasting getting ready, but that cross breeze from the doors feels so good. The first of many challenges was getting Kesley to not laugh for all the photos.

Looking so beautiful!

Kelsey accidentally sprayed her eyes with perfume, and her bridesmaid came in to finish the job.

Walked into the room with the guys snacking on Lucky Charm marshmallows. Also, this is the moment in typing the blog that I learned it isn’t spelled marshmellows.

Steps up to the altar and proceeds to do the titanic pose.

Prior to the ceremony, Bryan said to me “She doesn’t know it, but she’s getting some tongue.”

Shout out to Patty for giving me the idea of using the stained glass for a possible photo.

Showing Bryan right where he can hop on for the next photo.

Versus the actual carrying photo I wanted.

Making sure the face is well supported.

It’s hard to keep kids clean and put together on a wedding day. I watched the boy on the left sprint down the aisle 10 times prior to the ceremony, and now they are rolling in the grass. Just embrace the fact that they are having fun, and thank them for waiting until their pictures were done.

The closest we were comfortable getting next to the barrage of bees.

Spring will always rank supreme for weddings in my eyes. The colors are just too good. ROss Mansion, in case you wondering where all this beautiful scenery is taking place.

The key to having the best formal portraits is to just have fun with it.

Probably the first bride and groom to ever pose on the ground for me.

The way they are locked into one another.

Had to capture this little detail during the Father Daughter dance. Kudos for Julie for grabbing the keys.

Oven Lovin by Ashley is a staple at Blades Elementary!

The next table to follow the bride and groom went to the highest bidder. The winning bid was $500!

Some of the best in Blades.

“Here we go again.”

If you don’t come into sunset photos with this energy, we are going to have to try again.

“You have 1 second to take the serious photo before I bust out laughing.”

I definitely know they are the first bride and groom to lie down on the ground.

Gotta shout out two of my favs: DJ VO and Last Call Lauren. One keeps the party going, and one provides the liquid encouragement to hit the dance floor. Always pumped when I see you two.

Favorite dancer of the night was this little girl. She was out there from start to finish, and she always had the biggest smile on her face.

Dedicating the flowers to her mom.

The apologies to the children right before he got on the ground.

Believe it or not, the second set of boxing gloves I’ve photographed at a wedding. It’s been a few years though!

When it’s last call, and the music hits just right. That’s when the dance floor catches fire.

I made a joke about these guys and fireball. He hand delivered me one less than a minute later.

The final dance was a private dance with just the two. When I say private, I mean everyone was evacuated; it was just the DJ, me, and the couple. There is no better way to end the day for a man and wife who just dedicated their lives together.
