Building a huge amount of time for photos before the ceremony is so welcoming. Everyone can take their time getting ready, and if anyone is running behind then there is no need to panic. We were originally supposed to all get together the weekend before to do pre-wedding portraits, but the stars were not aligning. Even though those plans could not come to fruition, the day was still absolutely perfect. Scroll on to see my very last November wedding blog of this year!
When I heard that they were in the locker rooms, I immediately imagined what we had in school. Even with golfers coming in and out, the area was way better than I expected.
Bethany making all the spots look magazine worthy.
Engineering a makeshift funnel out of a plastic shot cup so that the flasks can get filled.
If it could be personalized, it was personalized. Cigars, bubbles, napkins, you name it.
Gotta get that groom straight.
“You gotta tell me what to do. I know clients are idiots so treat me like I’m an idiot.” Or something along those lines.
Pocket full of M&M’s can’t save his jaw from hitting the floor.
One of my favorite first look photos. Everyone in admiration and feeling the love.
The wind was so cold, but everyone handled it well. Huge shout out to the kids for crushing it.
My favorite group shot to do is that vogue no smile look.
“I didn’t hear him say serious face! I was smiling the whole time!”
Warming up inside with chicken tenders on the way.
“My suit is getting tighter!”
A cold ride around the golf course, but that sun was golden.
We messed up trying to get to the next bridge, and it took a little longer than intended. It was so worth it just to get a slightly different shot which ended up being my favorite of the day.
A footprint found its way onto the bottom of her dress during family portraits, but some strategic fluffing and folding will make you none the wiser.
I love how one of the groomsmen snuck out his cellphone to video tape Bethany coming down the aisle.
The key to having beautiful indoor wedding ceremony photos is to not place yourself right up against the wall. This lets me use lights to create a little bit of separation. This a prime example with my main flash turned off to create this moody capture.
This was my first ever Jewish wedding, and I was hoping they would step on the glass.
Sneaking away from the cocktail hour.
Not your Grandma’s introduction song.
Bringing in the brother for the Mother Son dance.
Make the wedding your own. Live performances are always awesome.
His and her sweatsuits is everything.
My favorite dancer of the night will have to be Jason. He was out there having the time of his life.
The dance floor no longer belongs to the girls.
Showing the kids how it’s done.
Easily this was the most chillest wedding day ever. No one was in a rush, everyone was just hanging out, and when it came time to party, they partied. You check all those boxes, and the day will fly by, and your photos will be epic.
