Alexis and Brent

Before we get into the blog, I just want to say that I AM UP AGAIN FOR BEST OF 2024 SUSSEX COUNTY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER! VOTE FOR ME BY CLICKING THIS TO HELP ME WIN FOR THE THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR!

When your bride is constantly laughing, dancing, and having fun, you know it’s going to be a great wedding. I don’t know these two personally, but I feel like Brent is the perfect Yin to Alexis’ Yang. He seems super chill and go with the flow, where she is super outgoing and ready to take life by the balls. You are just going to have to scroll on to see the scope of their awesomeness!

Being a nurse comes in pretty handy when you are off duty.

Super tricky shot in terms of communicating little intricacies in the pose. Alexis nailed it though.

A ponytail bride is my new favorite! Caleigh is always super awesome to work with when she does hair, and Leila showed off her talents behind the makeup brushes.

Water and nuggets are the key to making it through the entire day.

That sultry pajama bride look.

My favorite part of the bridal suite, but also my least favorite part to walk on.

Every bride needs to come into her zip up shot with this kind of energy.

Missing here is Brent’s bowtie. It arrived 40 minutes before the ceremony started.

That blue steel look with the entire bride ensemble.

This cup check was delivered at 100% power.

During formal portraits with the guys, we had to play bowtie musical chairs as many shots could be knocked out as possible before the ceremony. Brent’s arrived just in time.

“Umm, I’m going to finish looking at this later.”

“That was all of it.”

This right here. This is love, and this is a reaction that everyone hopes to see.

Alexis burst into laughter though when she got close enough to see Brent :P

The version where everyone is looking at the camera smiling...

Versus the shenanigans one.

Alexis told me before the wedding that she wanted to limit the amount of photos post-ceremony. I asked her how long she wanted to spend on them, and she said about 15 minutes. This is the magic you get when it’s crunch time.

My favorite shot of the day. Through the barn doors at Castle Farm.

That post ceremony shot before the mingling.

Dried florals on a cake? Yes please!

Beer chug for the story.

The speeches were great, and they each brought laughter to everyone in attendance. Alexis called out her Dad for not wanting to give a toast, but he stood up and took on her challenge. It was epic.

When your wife isn’t there to slow dance with you.

When you can name a song with just a photo.

This photo is here just because I love her face.

And I can only guess what was popping in this photo.

And there we have it! These two (as well as everyone they surrounded themselves with) are the absolute definition of a good time. Two people coming together for love with a mission to party all night. What more can you ask for!
