Haley and Logan

Ten-hour wedding days sometimes feel like they last forever because sometimes the party starts to unwind before last call. This wedding was not one of those weddings, and they actually kept the party going at a secondary location afterward. That’s how I like it, and the energy these guys had all day is something I can’t wait for you all to see.

A gust of wind was all it took to take out the seating chart. I had completely forgotten that this happened because the quickly thought up alternative was just as great looking.

Easily my favorite room in the Hopkins Heartland farmhouse. It’s elegant, and my go-to spot for the buttoning up of the bride photos.

“It’s not going in, it doesn’t fit, we have to get it wet first, and oops wrong hole” are some of the hilarious things said while trying to get a pair of earrings in.

Chilling with the horse, playing catch, and a pair of hand-painted brown boots that were hand-painted black. Just a little synopsis of the guys.

Logan with his super amazing no smile look.

Haley’s eyes are not photoshopped. That is just how striking they are in person.

There is a lot of mane to tame on this one.

Haley also killing it with her no smile look.

“You want all of us on the bed!?” Heck yes I do.

Giving the girls a twirl.

Logan let out a sob as soon as Haley was up at the alter.

My favorite moment of the day. Here we are just seconds after the ceremony concluded. Logan goes to dip Haley midway down the aisle and starts to dip her away from me. As he does he quickly realizes his mistake and swings her back so I can see her. It was a good save, and the shots before these are definitely ones that will be fun to look back on.

Just a little bit of air, but I am so proud of the girls for attempting this shot!

First time ever doing this kind of photo.

That little kiss of light peeking through.

The best man’s wife was one of the best volunteer assistants I have ever had. She was also the stable wench? I can’t exactly remember what the guys kept calling her in the grooms suite, but that sounds close enough :P

Whispering something dirty.

In love with this heart backdrop.

I can hear the “Blaahhh!” in this photo.

Favorite dance photo of the night. Her hand by the light, and the imaginary microphone hand off in the foreground.

Favorite dancers of the evening go to the groom and best man for all their shenanigans throughout the evening.

Corrine told me there were no more cows at Hopkins, but I found this little cutie being walked around all night.

I was hoping Logan would accidentally pull out the 10-year-old sweat-seasoned something borrowed garter with his mouth.

Best silhouette ever.

Save a horse ride a cowboy.

I looked to Courtney for help in finding my table during dinner as I made my third round around the venue looking for table 15. She instructed me that it was at the other end of the barn…it was right next to their table.

I’m going out on a limb by saying that Logan probably practices his air guitar every chance he gets.

Meghan channeling her inner pop star.

I was waiting for Lydia’s orange crush to spill down his back, but it never happened.

What cracked me up about YMCA coming on was that the two groomsmen that are brothers were dancing with one another all night long. Dancing to this song was where they drew the line.

When I booked this wedding, we had two years or so of long waiting. Time came and went so quickly, and I can’t wrap my head around the fact that it’s all over. I will say that the people of Wisconsin sure know how to keep a dance floor kicking all night, and I hope I get to see these guys again!
