Sarah and Chris

It’s been almost 20 years since we graduated high school, and Sarah is still the exact same girl she was back then. It’s pretty amazing that we get to see our friends grow as they progress through life online, but it’s even better to actually witness a monumental moment firsthand.

It was all smiles, and laughter until Chris had to sit down and read his letter from Sarah.

This is my first wedding where I started my coverage with the bride already ready for her big day.

She did not want to be photographed. That changed once we arrived at the church. In the meantime, here is a photo to show her future boyfriend.

Sarah pretending to do her makeup so that she can have some getting ready photos :P

The Sisters aka The Honors of the day..

When the weather gets cooler, you either get blessed with the colors of fall or you gets trees with nothing at all.

The both performed the feet washing ceremony on one another to show that these two are equals.

Route 50 traffic literally just above their heads.

I made them walk super far to get to this peninsula.

And then made them hike up this little mountain. Totally worth it though.

Sarah’s and her Dad during their first dance. If you know this family, this moment was extra special.

When Chris tries to show off his moves.

Second time I ever got caught up in a game of tag at a wedding.

“Who snores the loudest?”

The “who gets the cake smashed in their face” jars…

Does not count when your husband had a cupcake palmed and ready to go.

Dancing with food is my favorite tradition in my blogs.

Let me tell everyone, glow sticks are expert level when it comes to capturing a send off. They don’t put off a ton of light, and using flash wrong will wash them completely out. This send off was an experiment for me, and thank goodness I pulled it off because I am far from expert. Thank you Sarah and Chris for having me be a part of your big day. You guys were amazing, and I can’t wait for some of our old high school friends to see this moment you allowed me to take part in.
