Caitlyn and Greg

There is something special to be said about a couple who will go out to a brewery with you after their engagement session. I still can’t believe that was two years ago, and just like that, Caitlyn and Greg’s wedding day has come and gone. The forecast earlier in the week stated we were supposed to get three straight days of nasty rain. Somehow, Saturday ended up being absolutely beautiful with some clouds and plenty of sunshine. Despite the occasional toots from Greg, this day could not have been any better.

My start time was after everyone had their hair and makeup completed so everyone was already extra scrumptious. Makeup was done by Glam by Gabby.

Love when brides wear their hair down! Sometimes it’s a gamble with wind and humidity, but Caitlyn’s hair lasted well through the night. Hair by Ashley Nicole Hairstyling.

Emily “Oh we’re doing robe shots? I better put on a bra.”

The playlist from the guy’s area was something special. Hearing them scream the words to Kiss From A Rose was enchanting.

Greg killing it with the cuff adjustment pose.

Daddy and Me tie.

I’m sorry Greg! This is just such a great photo of a powerful moment. Had to sneak it in for Caitlyn to see.

The definition of cool.

I really like the sitting room upstairs at Hopkin’s Heartland. The lighting is just so good.

Mama adding that cherry on top.

The most layers I have ever experienced in a wedding dress. It is so beautiful, but fanning it out was expert-level stuff.

First look with the girls (post photo bomb).

And first look with Papa Bear.

The best men!

Some people tie ropes, some people pour sand…these two mixed Bud Light and Michelob Ultra and then chugged.

Muy Caliente.

Straddling the river to get this shot. Worth it.

I usually do not post individual photos with the couples because there are so many. This was extraordinary circumstances though. Eyelid flip despite wearing lashes equals my all-time favorite shenanigans shot.

That bromance.

Best family portrait ever.

You may think this is the pond next to the covered bridge, but this is a puddle from all the rain we had.

Playful couples are the best couples.

Catboy.

Mullet and pit vipers.

Gotta make a speech on your Aunt’s wedding day!

There were two photos that Caitlyn requested as an absolute must on her wedding day. This was one of them.

More than a handful is a waste.

Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Get your some bridesmaids that will shotgun a beer with you on your wedding day. Super sad I didn’t get to participate!!!

My favorite dancer of the night is the adult best man. From flossing his jacket between his legs and using the glow sticks as a makeshift falace, he was the full package. All this made possible by DJ VO Entertainment!

I’m sorry Caitlyn, this is the cake feeding photo I chose for the blog :P Cake by Sweet Melissa.

Nothing wrong with a little bump and grind.

This is a dance move that I am positive anyone can name the song too.

A little hip thrusting.

No one is safe from the rocks and hard places.

The recipe to a great dance floor photo is beer, big mac minis, and bridesmaids.

I mentioned that no one is safe, right?

The little boy shoving his head into a butt in the background.

I want to dress exactly like Candace’s husband. Dude has style.

My favorite photo of the evening!

And just like that, I can’t believe it’s over! This wedding was two years in the making, and everyone made this day an absolute joy. We all have to get together soon for another long-awaited brewery adventure!
