Erin and Devin

All week long, the weather forecasted this wedding to be nothing but rain and wind. We were even in the midst of planning another date for formal portraits so that they could have photos that weren’t completely inside. Erin and Devin got their good luck in the form of just a few heavy sprinkles, and they ended up not needing the badminton rackets that Amazon sent them in case it poured out. I can’t think of a single thing that I would change about this wedding day because it was perfect.

Whenever I arrive I usually start with the details such as the rings and dress. I asked Erin for her jewelry, and she asked me if I wanted a mimosa. I had three thanks to her, but of course, my arm is not hard to twist.

Boot scoot boogie ended with the dog bowl being kicked.

Jaime and Liv are the super talented girls behind the makeup.

Jessica “Can you make sure you photoshop me so I look good?”
Me “Nah girl, not needed!”

This girl had a champaign flute filled to the brim with strawberries and a splash of orange juice. Those strawberries were also converted to jam by the power of his fists.

About Faces taming the mane that is Erin’s hair.

Probably one of my favorite getting ready photos ever.

First look with the girls

And first look with Dad. He was just a little nervous about this moment.

I have always loved when bridesmaids had different styles of dresses instead of everyone matching. I am now a fan of everyone having a slightly different shade of the same color. Also, these ladies are looking scrumptious,

Just soak her all in Devin.

Just a little moment before Mom pinned Devin’s boutonniere on.

Shout out to Dad for running back to the hotel to get Devin’s other pair of pants. He accidentally put on the extremely baggy pair.

The oreo cupcake by Cake Art, oh my goodness was it delicious.

I really hope everyone in attendance was able to hear Devin when Erin first came into view. The best sound in the entire world.

Before their wedding day, they had to cancel all their outdoor seating and the tent. It’s always tough having to change your plans because of what the weather might do, but it was still a beautiful ceremony.

He was randomly smiling at me as I walked by so I had to take a snap.

Three fans of the shocker in this photo.

Rachel for the win!

When I came across this on the computer, I could not help but laugh. The struggle on Devin’s face.

Rustic and beautiful making the best combo ever.

I don’t know Devin other than what I witnessed during their wedding. Based on the handful of hours I interacted with him though I was able to see the immense love he has for Erin.

The natural framing of this photo and the gnarly trees in the background make this almost fairy tale-like.

“Devin, whisper those disgusting things to her.”

As they sit down, Devin is looking down at Erin’s chest, and she says “You look like you want to motorboat them.”

So glad they got into the soybeans.

If you can’t make it to rehearsal, then you can’t object to the ideas that were proposed.

I think it was this girl who did the song for the first dance. If I wasn’t told, I would have assumed it was a popular song on the radio. Get out there, girl. You will kill it.

Running the train.

If you drag the camera shutter and add a touch of flash, you get this awesomeness.

Favorite dance photo of the evening.

Time for some epic night photos.

Matt of Goni Entertainment kept the party going until the very end.

Sometimes when the dance floor is long and skinny it makes it tough because people will collect in a small pocket in the center. That was not the case here. Everyone was constantly moving around, coming together, and breaking apart. Made it so easy for me to move throughout.

I like to think she was just super pumped I was about to take her photo.

“You’ve been together for 10 years!”

Devin getting everyone all hot and bothered with his pre-garter dance.

I love the effort these guys put in, and I especially love the beer mid-flight.

Make sure you get the hands on the butts.

A little brotherly love.

The “O” face.

When you attack the dance floor, but the play money does you wrong.

A whole lot of bumping and grinding.

Always a fan of double fisting.

My favorite dancer of the night was this little girl. She was going strong well into the night.

He made a motion like he was going to dive into the fake money. He caught my eye from across the room, I gave him a nod, and he went for it.

Erin and Devin, your wedding was amazing. I know the threat of rain stressed you all week long, but I think the amount of fun I saw you guys have made up for it. Also, I know for a fact I can always count on Erin to keep my drink going on.
