Hannah and Parker

When Hannah and Parker first reached out to me, they said she wanted to spend as little time as possible doing formal portraits. They wanted their family and friends to spend as much time having fun, and they didn’t want to be to far behind them. This is the fastest I have every pounded out portraits post ceremony, and I am all for it. Scroll on to see just how a hunting and fishing kind of group can party!

“Take a picture of me painting my toes…WAIT I WAS KIDDING!”

Randomly breaking out into dance only to realize after the flash goes off that the photographer was in the room.

Mairead and Colleen killing it with the hair and makeup.

Sipping on some champagne as the dress goes on.

I asked Dad to help Parker get ready, and he slaps him on the butt.

I told them the smolder photo is hit or miss. The absolutely killed it.

Trying to keep the bride in the dry spot because it rained the entire first half of the day.

Little Miss Lovely creating the most beautiful flower arrangements.

Dad “Here I can cut the tag string off with a knife.”

Parker “I’ll just bite it off with my teeth.”

Shoutout to Alison To The Alter for keeping the day running smoothly.

His smile seeing her for the first time today.

And the way she tries to hold back tears when she sees him.

Every immediate family member putting their hands on the rings before they go on the Bride and Groom’s fingers.

Just love all their laughing faces in this shot. Probably my favorite ceremony photo this year.

First a flower photo then you can love on Mommy and Daddy.

The first official family portrait.

Parker “Hey, if you can knock out our pictures in 10 minutes, we’d love that.”

“Want me to ride the lion? I’m riding the lion.”

Just a photobombing horse who enjoyed the rain.

Hannah doing to most perfect dress spin photo ever.

If you have a Castle Farm wedding, I’m taking this photo.

The way these two were walking hand in hand at their own pace to the reception area is everything. I popped in to grab two photos, and I sped away to give them the rest of their privacy.

If Hannah’s little sister stayed the entire night, she would have been a shoe in for my favorite dancer of the night. Between her break dancing and backflip, she’ll have to settle for a very very close second.

That tear streaming down Dad’s cheek.

“I want to thank everyone for coming, especially our Dad. Because if it wasn’t for him coming, we wouldn’t be here.”

All the speeches were great, but watching Hannah’s sister crack up throughout her own jokes was amazing.

Ripping on Parker for not attending his wedding.

The dance floor held the same people all night long, but those people were amazing. This group is a photographer’s dream.

When I arrived for the day, I went to say hi to the guys before going to the girls. Hannah’s brother was laid out on the couch in the dark, watching hunting videos, and I was jealous.

Taking a break from wedding planning to tear up the dance floor. She came into the reception absolutely soaked from the shins down from walking on the grass, but that did not slow her down.

I don’t know what was transpiring during this moment, but her body language says “Come on big papa.”

Everyone wants a taste of that last call.

These four girls right here. Favorite dancers of the day, possibly the year. I was smiling every time I walk by them. Their carefree just want to have fun dancing that went on all night. I also, have to point out the shocked faces.

Those same four girls doing a dance circle around Hannah and Parker.

It’s time for her to go, but she does not want to go.

All it takes is her dying her hair a different color, and I would not have placed her as a passed bride of mine.

And there we have it! This is what an ideal wedding for me looks like. Coming into the day ready to crush it so that you can get right to the party. If you want the dance floor to be on fire all night, take a not from these guys!
