Kelly and Aaron

Overcast skies are always welcome on a wedding day. We were so lucky that the forecast changed because it was calling for rain all week. I came into Caroline Country Club for the second day in a row and saw that the whole venue got a complete overhaul. These guys put in miles to get everything just right, and the effort lives in the proof of these photos. Scroll on to see!

The way the robe just pops along with the hairspray.

A dark and moody lit bride.

Had to hold my arms above my head to get above Aaron’s giantness.

Still kind of bummed he didn’t whip out the guitar during the wedding day.

First look with his littlest.

Leaning in for a quick lip touch up.

First touch…well this was technically the second touch.

First look high five.

This look back photo is now going to be a part of my bag of tricks.

Just moments before hitting the aisle.

Officially a family <3

He came in and snagged up the can all in stride.

The best bridal party photo.

The difference a few minutes can make. The clouds were covering the sun, and moments later we came back to this spot because it started to shine through. Both are magical in their own way.

Speaking of magical, there was the faintest of sprinkles which opened up the door for this vivid rainbow.

She’s officially taken, so if you have a key to Kelly’s house, please return them now.

Nick, the VIP with assisting the couple during formal portraits and the reception.

Will never turn down a shot.

My favorite dancer of the night was this lady. Have you ever seen a swan land in a mist covered lake on an early Spring morning? She was the opposite, and I loved every second of it.

She’s feeling it.

All the flowers were grown by the bride and arranged by this saucy dancer. Check out Plush & Bloom to add some color to your day.

Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

And there we have it! It is always interesting to shoot a venue back-to-back. You wonder, how will I make them look different from one another? If you have a day of amazing people, then just hold on for the ride, and different opportunities will arise.
