Daisy and Zack

Heads up, this is another massive blog. I met Daisy back when I was going through college my second time around, and she’s just one of those people you instantly become friends with. When I met Zack during the engagement session, I knew Daisy had found the last piece of her puzzle. I would be very surprised to hear if anyone would describe these two in any words lesser than awesome, and the friends and family that showed up is a testament to the amount of love that surrounds them.

Zack brought the challenge of an eye sty on his wedding day.

She is missed, but I’m sure she showed up in spirit chewing a brand new tennis ball front and center.

Faking the makeup shots. The for real real hair and makeup were Ikia and Meghan.

All the beautifuls!

The size of everyone’s smile was just amazing.

Favorite moment of the entire day was hearing Daisy choke back tears as she was walking to Zack.

I have no idea what the dog sitter would say about the entire day, but these two doggies were the best doggies ever. Also, this wedding party was so massive that I had to layer them so that they would fit in the barn.

All the girls were the best to work with. The awesome drapes and string lights on the dance floor were provided by SoDel Lighting & Event Decor.

And that goes for the guys as well. My second favorite moment which is not included in this blog was when the fellas were holding Daisy across their arms. This gentleman up front to the left is just muscle stacked on top of muscle, and he was holding up the veil.

Formal portraits took place before the ceremony so we had to hunt for shade for some of the shots.

Those watery eyes.

Daisy had her ring bearers carry her dress for her down the aisle. I kind of like it.

Everyone was looking dapper.

A mariachi band started playing as soon as the bride and groom made it back down the aisle. Right before we left to finish up a few more formal shots Daisy exclaimed that the song they were playing was her favorite. I asked them if they wanted to do a little dance so I can try a photo, and then their unofficial first dance grew to fruition.

Because who doesn’t love a bridal portrait. Floral design was by Styled and the flowers were from Pretty Little Wedding Co.

Thank you so much to Jenn and her assistant Cassie for being an awesome videography team to work with!

Seriously heard a lot of guests say that they loved the wedding venue. I agree with them. Vanderwende Acres is epic. The coordinators were also a dream to work with. On top of their game in keeping me in the loop. Anna and Jordan, thank you! If you made it this far without scrolling to the next photo, I have to point out the two grooms just to the right of Zack.

The best way to end the official first dance.

From stroller nap to shoulder chilling.

Who wants to eat first!? Also, does DJ Hector even need an introduction in my blogs anymore?

First field of soybeans wedding photo for me. I like it was better than corn.

I am a big fan of giant bushes and flowers.

Practicing for when she has to carry Zack over the threshold.

Sarah from Vanderwende Acres told me that a lot of people like the last photo I did in this style. So I’m giving the people what they want.

There were four people giving toasts. Sometimes that could drag things along, but these guys nailed it. Here is Zack pictured with his favorite toy growing up. A pair of rubber gloves.

Of course you can’t go through adulthood carrying a random pair of rubber gloves. Instead we have the more compact option.

Daisy’s father doing his dance with her in spirit.

Shenanigans right when the dance floor opens.

Just a little bump and grind.

The bride and groom have entered the circle.

Easily my favorite accidental photo. Zack getting hit with the light just right as he unties his bowtie. Speaking of bowties. I had to tie all ten of them because no one knew how. Sometimes my useless skills come in handy.

Booty to booty is always the best.

The reception had the most amount of people on the dance floor that I have ever experienced. Not only that, but it stayed that big the entire night. We also got a live performance which is always amazing. I’d like to give Hector credit for maintaining the pump, but this group was prepared for the long haul.

When you live in Baltimore, you pick up a few gang signs.

YMCA

Favorite dancer of the night was this little dude. Every dance circle that formed, he was a participant.

The ladies admiring the sweet moves.

Gotta sneak the bride away at least once.

She was runner up for favorite dancer just because of this photo.

Seriously, this group was amazing. The energy was at 100% throughout the day into the end of the night. Sweat was flying along with the bride and groom, and it was hard to tell if anyone even left the party before 10pm. If they were all like this then I am going to need to upgrade my hard drives to store all this awesomeness.
