Sara and Dylan

I knew this wedding was going to be epic, but epic is still putting it lightly. I feel so honored to have been a part of Sara and Dylan’s wedding, and to be the first photographer to work in the brand new Willowbrook wedding venue. Sara was an absolutely beautiful bride, Dylan got to marry the girl of his dreams, and these guys made sure every single family member and friend was there to take part in this special occasion. Seriously, there were like 300 people in attendance. It’s really hard to put into words the amount of awesomeness that went into today. So here are some of my favorite moments.

There was a dream team that took part in getting all the ladies ready. Click their names to check out each one.
@_alexis_antoinette_, @lexicodesign, @riankaleia, @danigaudiosimua, @katevesthetics, @cbmermaidxo, @dirtyblondede and @hairbykristinatallent. A little bit of hair, a little bit of makeup, and a lot a bit of awesome.

They may be gone, but they were right by her side the entire day.

On the Champaign struggle bus.

Black on black is so slick. Love it.

Two needles, one Mom.

I got to work along side of Garrett from Sincerely The Kitchens as he did video. I could not ask for anyone better. Might have to steal him from Julia :P

Karen and Jon’s walls are filled with giant photos of the family throughout life. I want to be up there somewhere so hopefully this makes the cut.

Vail for days. Kuddos to the Mama’s who spread it out so good.

The willow of Willowbrook.

Sara and Dylan, print this one please!

Dylan’s forehead was a magnet for mosquitos. I totally failed in capturing Sara slap him across the face prior.

Trying to get that sweet reflection shot.

One of my favorite shots is this final shot at the end of formal portraits. These doors were setup at the end of the aisle so that Sara could remain hidden until it was time for her to walk down.

How else is a queen supposed to enter a room?

These guys had a 7 minute fully choreographed dance with several songs. Also, Dylan’s booty is poppin. So obviously these guys won favorite dancers of the night for me. Choreography by Kelly Pearson.

A little lip sync solo.

Love love love this shot of the cake against the staircase. Such clean and elegant lines.
Cake by Sugar Rush by Theresa, flowers by Floral Inspirations, ice sculpture by Ice and Spice Company, catering by La Vida Hospitality, and bars (there were three stations!) by It Takes Two. I’m still trying to figure out who the cake person was…

The band was Legacy, and I can’t sum up how incredible they were. If you want to do something other than a DJ, these guys are definitely it. No joke.

Mmmm hmmmm….

A special surprise for mama bear. A special song sung by Sara with a slideshow.

Got her in the feels.

Pretty sure Cooper is pointing at the hot makeup artist from across the way.

Katelyn, best helper. Period.

This was such an amazing day. 10 hours is a long time, but at no point was I struggling to get through the night. There was so much going on everywhere, I was constantly on my toes. I truly feel so honored to have been a part of this epic occasion. Each person I met was truly wonderful, and this day will be one I will always remember.
