Alaina and Michael

The first time I met these two, we were at The Whip Tavern which was the location they chose for their engagement portraits. We were given access to the entire building until they opened for the day. We immediately began the session with a couple of beers, and I knew these two were after my heart. When I say after my heart, they bought me several rounds of some amazing IPAs, and their wedding day was filled with just the same. No cheap stuff. Anyway, I tell this story because I try to incorporate something within the wedding, or something about my couples whenever I do the ring photos. When I came up with this idea, I knew it was 100% them. Also, Victory Brewing, I am available for styled shoots.

Alaina 100% rocks the hair pulled back look.

Also, Alaina and Michael both close their eyes when they laugh super hard. I love it.

Manly version of the hair spray shot?

There were several dog friends roaming around the property throughout the day, and that’s something I wish happened more often.

Get you a wedding guest that stares at you across the distance like this. Just kidding, I had my zoom lens on, and I’m pretty sure she was admiring her man.

This backyard wedding was decorated beautifully.

Majority of the wedding guests cat calling or hooting as Alaina made her way down the aisle.

Fellow bow tie aficionado.

Pam set up this surprise confetti send off right after the ceremony.

When picking out the spot for this photo, Alaina suggested this one because of the pretty sunflowers. The main sunflower that was front and center was then immediately crushed by her doggy.

Pure happiness.

And more pure happiness.

Super popular wedding group dance song that I bet anyone can guess the name of just by this photo.

Magical Mama, aka Pam.

This lady swept both Michael and Alaina off their feet.

Preview of what’s to come later that night.

I always say it, but I am so thankful to be a part of these weddings, and I seriously have some of the best clients. I am definitely going to have to schedule a dinner at The Whip with these two, visit Alaina at Victory Brewing, and check out Mike’s homebrew setup in the very near future. These two are ones I don’t want to ever let go.
