Brooke and Cody

I never would have guessed these two had party animals living inside of them, but I am so happy to see them come alive on their wedding day. This was an incredibly difficult blog to narrow down because so much happened, and I wanted to make sure I told the story as completely as possible without having a hundred photos on here. So here is the condensed version of the amazing Rains wedding day.

Wedding day letter from Mama Bear catching all the feelings.

Wanted to try something different with the rings photo.

Not pictured in this photo, best man’s black eye.

Breanna killing it with all things hair, and Amber saving the day because the original make up artist double booked herself. Check them out at Glitz & Glam Studio!

You may recognize Corrine from Hopkins Heartland (Formally Covered Bridge Inn). She stepped up, and took on the stress of coordinating the day and I can not thank her enough.

So I just have to point out that Brooke has a smile that lights up a room. Pretty much every photo of her radiates this level of excitement.

My first letter exchange where they did not see each other before the ceremony, but stood side by side.

Ceremony had a slight delay, but he eventually made it down the aisle.

I love the Kylan Barn mountain.

Cody had to cast his gaze downwards as Brooke got closer. I personally think he had to fight off his tears.

This entire group was amazing. I can’t describe them any other way. I just loved them all.

Brooke’s dress was the perfect twirl in a circle dress.

Twilight vibes at the Kylan Barn woods.

She had this gaze right before I lifted the camera to my eye, and then proceeded to smile. I asked her to give me that look that she had before. Nailed it.

Shockingly, the venue owner said no one ever uses the boat for pics.

Last shot before introductions, and this little gust of wind added that little bit of extra awesomeness.

I love when a couple incorporates their children into their first dance.

One of my favorite sunset family photos ever. Also, favorite quote of the evening “What kind of titties you like?”

My all time favorite sunset family photo ever.

As a reward for cooperating with pictures, these guys were allowed to fish for a couple minutes.

No love is like bro love.

He’s going in.

My favorite dancer of the night is this dude who caught the garter. Notice where he has it tucked.

The key is to make unflinching direct eye contact with the boyfriend as you slide it up.

You may recognize Ryan from two weddings ago. This was payback.

You’ll be seeing more of this beautiful woman next year for her wedding.

Best guy hair of the night. Second place goes to the mullet man.

Moments like these are the best.

Booty vs booty.

Did I say no love is like bro love?

This was a setup photo. She was so fast with her twirls and running around, I needed to ask her to do it in place for a hot second so I could get it.

Finally, my favorite photo of the night is coming up. I tried to think of something special and noticed that they each had a can of beer glued to their hand the entire evening. I asked them if they would be up for a silhouette beer chug, and they gave me 110%.
