Ally and Nick

This wedding was something special to me. Nick and I go way back. Back when his older brothers and I ran a super small car club that we called Dream On which dismantled as soon as he was old enough to drive. Back when we used to spend every day of the summer skim boarding. I don’t know if Ally knows this, but we even go back to when Nick was a professional rapper. It has been amazing watching him grow up, and the day I met Ally I knew he picked the right girl. We did two series of engagement pictures, one locally, and one at the edge of a cliff. Ally climbed the mountain with what appeared to be ease, and no joke I thought I was going to throw up. We get to the cliff, and that’s when we find out that we all share the same fear in heights. It was worth it. I still can’t believe this day has already come and gone. One day is seriously not enough time when you spend it with the people you love.

Fair warning, you’ve seen some pretty amazing pictures of Ally. The next one is my favorite of the day.

I could not have picked out a more perfect playlist than the one these ladies had on. It had Wannabe by Spice Girls, Grillz by Nelly…you name an awesome song from the early 2000’s and it was there.

The letters were my favorite part of the day. They both wrote some pretty amazing heartfelt messages to one another, and they glassy eyes and choking up made it something I am thankful for being able to witness.

Ally, I know Nick is an avid reader, but your letter had him trying to maintain his composure throughout the entirety.

Just minutes away from walking down the isle, the dAY finally hit her.

From literally 80 yards away, Nick and Ally caught each others eyes and smiled.

That first look.

The officiant, Andrew, did a super awesome job at keeping everything short, sweet, and funny.

So these two were supposed to shotgun beers once they got to this point, but so many people dropped the ball on it. It’s okay, those beers were downed later on.

Addison has my heart with the classic facial expression made famous by pretty much everyone in their family.

The Covered Bridge Inn is such a beautiful venue with a little bit of everything.

Taste Events did amazing with the food, tacos are always a win for me. I love the detail of the figs with this cake by Dachside Bakery, and the floral arrangements by Thurman & Fig Florals were just simply beautiful!

Marked walking in with a beer, stabbed a hole in it, and passed it off the Kate. She was amazing.

The speeches were amazing from both sides. If they went on for 10 minutes a piece I would have loved it equally as much.

This is pure friendship.

No one was left out. Everyone got to experience the awesomeness.

Megan has been to so many Milford weddings, and she is always on the dance floor having the time of her life. Just for that, she wins out on my favorite dancer of the night.

Everyone else on the dance floor is a close second though because they stay on all night long.

Is Quinn asleep? Heck no!

There isn’t much more that I can say other than I wish this day didn’t end. I found out they donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in my daughters name which means the world to me. At the end of the night we closed off with a cell phone light send off. I can’t wait to see what these two do next, where they travel to, or how much their family will grow. One thing I know for sure is these guys definitely know how to get married in style.
